Our wellbeing and enrichment programme is tailored to individual interests, helping residents stay active, build confidence, and enjoy social interaction each day. Activities range from visits to local attractions using our minibus service and hosting monthly community events to joining the Runwood Ramblers walking group, alongside a wide variety of activities within the home.

Food & Nutrition
At Rose House, we follow the guidelines of the British Dietetic Association and the Care Home Digest to ensure residents’ nutritional needs are consistently met. Our freshly prepared meals cater to a wide range of dietary requirements and preferences, bringing residents together in a welcoming, social, and dignified atmosphere where every mealtime is both enjoyable and nourishing.

Jo Unwin
With a career rooted in compassion and dedication, I began my journey in the care sector and later gained valuable nursing experience that deepened my understanding of holistic, person-centred support. Having recently completed a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Adult Care, I bring both extensive hands-on experience and a formal qualification to support my current role as Manager at Rose House. I’m deeply passionate about ensuring person-centred care for every resident and take immense pride in empowering my team to uphold the highest standards across the home. My commitment to continuous development and excellence in care remains at the heart of everything I do.
