Welcome to Brewster House. Situated in Maldon, Essex, our 74-bed residential and dementia care home offers person-centred care and an established community for our residents to thrive. At Brewster House, we place a real emphasis on celebrating the lives of each and every one of our residents.

I joined Brewster House Care Home in May 2024 as Deputy Manager and have since progressed to the role of Home Manager.
My journey in care began 24 years ago as a Domestic Assistant. Since then, I have worked as a Care Assistant, Head of Care, Deputy Manager, and now Home Manager. My experience also includes working as a Registered Manager in Domiciliary Care before returning to Runwood Homes, where my career first began.
Working in care is more than a profession for me; it is my passion. I find great joy in seeing our residents thrive, building friendships, and creating precious memories with their loved ones.

At Runwood Homes, we offer a full food and dining menu consisting of breakfast, lunch and dinner along with snacks to suit all dietary requirements. For residents requiring textured food, rest assured that your loved one’s needs will also be catered for. We take into account meal preferences from each resident in our care and aim to provide their favourite meals that they are used to.
Your loved one will benefit from a dedicated Lifestyle Coordinator within the home; they will organise and encourage social interactions with a range of engaging activities. The Lifestyle Coordinator will create an activity calendar taking into account your loved one’s interests and varying needs. Activities may include music and singing sessions, arts and crafts, bingo, baking and visits to outside attractions etc.
