Hello everyone,

My name is Nicolas Kee Mew, and I am very pleased to introduce myself as the Home Manager at Frank Foster House.

My journey in social care began right here at Frank Foster House in 2006, where I started as a cleaner. Over the following 7 years, I progressed through roles from carer to Care Team Manager. After 11 years away, I’m proud to return to Runwood Homes—this time as Home Manager—to lead, support, and continue building on the great work already happening here.

I bring with me 19 years of experience in the social care sector, having managed a number of homes—both in the private sector and not-for-profit organisations—including services rated as outstanding. I also hold an MSc in Dementia Studies from the University of Stirling, and I am passionate about delivering person-centred, dignified care for all residents.

You’ll also get the chance to meet Elia, my 10-year-old Schnauzer, who is a registered emotional support dog and a loyal companion to me and many others.

Outside of work, I’ve been a dedicated fundraiser for Alzheimer’s Society for the past 10 years. In recognition of this, I was honoured to receive a British Citizen Award for Voluntary Work in Dementia in 2022.

I’m truly excited to be back and to work alongside such a committed team. I look forward to getting to know each of you and continuing to make Frank Foster House a warm, caring, and thriving home for all who live and work here.
